Health Canada policy for Natural Health Products is complex and ever-changing which catches many small and large suppliers off-guard. The regulations and guidance documents are only one part of the overall policy with many practices developing over time as Health Canada works with industry to clarify both the process and the safety, efficacy and quality requirements for NHPs.
NHP Licensing Solutions draws upon its experience with product licence applications and its own dealings with Health Canada and the industry to develop its own pool of knowledge and best practice. We also contribute to the industry through our research activities and continue to develop the consumer market for Natural Health Products through trade shows and meetings with other industry groups.
